This was a private comission for Guardians of the Galaxy 7 color screenprint. I tried to capture the feel of an 80's space opera and the vibes of the time refrerenced in the film. Here's a look at the color seperation process;

This was created in Photoshop CS6 using my Wacom Cintiq 21UX. I occasionally switched between that and my new Cintiq Companion. As always, I lost track of how long this piece took but it took around a month to complete. 

I tried a new transparent ink in the screenprinting process this time for shading.

Green varaint, metallic inks.
